Poses within a photoshoot are also very important when creating a magazine. The right model, in the right clothes and make up and doing the right pose, is often a main contribute to pulling a magaizne cover together. The cover is the readers first impression of a magazine therefor it is vitally important as a strong cover is going to be what catches the readers eye.
This pose is something I want to incorporate into my photo shoot with my model. It is a very simple, bold statement, mid-close up shot. Although it still shows a fashion element and make-up element drawing in a wide variety of girls. The simplicity of this cover makes it stand out among many other magazines. The colour theme is primarily white and black, which are mature, simple colours. I also like this pose as it is unique and unusual. It portrays an edgy feel drawing the reader in. The model is also showing her fashionable outfit but in a modest, appealing way. Her mysterious gaze draws the reader in. Her expression is vulnerable, yet her image contrasts her expression as her dress and make up depicts a confident fashionable woman, making the overall pose even more interesting and unique.
This
pose also stands out too me. It is simple, yet bold. The models expression
looks vulnerable yet confident, the simplicity of this pose is made strong by
statement fashion clothing and make-up. Her hands placed on hips portray confidence.
